What They are Saying
About Master Potter, Simple Clay Ministry
"I’ve been a pastor's wife almost 30 years, so I've been to a lot of retreats and a lot of seminars. This one, Master Potter Simple Clay, is unique in that watching what she was doing -- throwing a pot live and talking at the same time kind of amazed me. It was very magical and also very meditative.
There's a lot of fantastic Bible study in her presentation, the deeper life sort, contemplating the scriptures that she presents and relating these principles of how potters do their work to how God works with us.
"It is also just great fun. Jennifer has a good sense of humor and tells funny stories, mixing all parts of her personality into what she presents; the science teacher part, her family and her quirky pets, then also talking about how pottery influenced and developed her walk with the Lord. We did a lot of laughing through the day, and some crying too.
"Her story of the hard lump left in the bottom of the muck bucket is one that I’ll be thinking about for quite a while. Jennifer's challenge out of that story to us was -- what is that hard lump in your life that you have not yielded to the Lord fully and how is it keeping you from fully experiencing His love, grace fullness in your life?-Kathryn Johnson, Everett, WA.
"I think Jennifer is very gifted in what she is doing. She is following the footsteps that God has placed in front of her and as she walks that path, there's no doubt that she's asking the Holy Spirit to lead and guide her. She has a tremendous gift of storytelling, of taking everyday situations and pulling them into what she's trying to share through her heart, her pottery experience, and drawing the audience in because we relate to it. It comes out in her whole presentation and the love that she has for the Lord is very, very evident.
"It's beautiful to watch. Absolutely. The Holy Spirit is going to speak to your heart in one way or another, and you will come out a better person for having attended. He speaks to all of us differently. What one person will get out of the presentation may not be the same as the other, but everyone will come out with a gift from the Lord from being there. Please go. It's a divine appointment.-Susan Shirkey, Sequim,WA.
